KONA UTE FTW. Click here!
I rode fourteen miles today on my bike! Okay okay, my brother's bike. It's a beautiful pumpkin-colored 2006 Kona Jake and it's THIS CLOSE to being mine *makes little pinching motion with right hand*. For one thing, my Dad's new 2008 Jake is being assembled at the bike shop in Indianapolis. As soon as my dad gets his new one, Mark gets my dad's old bike and I get Mark's. That'll happen in about two weeks. Also, my dad promised to get me a "new" bike once I had ridden 100 miles this summer, which I have surpassed.
After my ride today I realized that all I've had to eat are about six cookies and a glass of Naked pomegranate juice. I didn't even think of it until about two miles into the ride.
WHO NEEDS FOSSIL FUELS
I HAVE COOKIES AND LEGS THAT CAN PEDAL
Also, Joss Whedon's work has once again snagged my attention. Although I didn't exactly get hooked on Buffy, Firefly and the Buffy spinoff comic Fray are both great. BUT...HE HAS DONE THE IMPOSSIBLE. HE TOOK NATHAN FILLION AND NEIL PATRICK HARRIS AND SMASHED THEM TOGETHER IN A MUSICAL. JOSS IS A GENIUS. A GENIUS! WATCH DR. HORRIBLE. IT IS WORTH THE $2 PER EPISODE.
